CANopen is a communication protocol based on the CAN (Controller Area Network) bus. It is mainly used in embedded networks for mechanical control, such as industrial machinery control, vehicle control systems, factory automation, medical equipment control, remote data acquisition, environmental monitoring, and packaging machine control.
The CAN-2012C module complies with the CiA-301 4.02 and CiA-401 2.1 specifications and has been verified by the CiA CANopen compatibility test tool. Therefore, users can easily use CAN-2012C and its EDS files on standard CANopen master software. CAN-2012C has 16-bit, 8-channel differential input or 16-channel single-ended input. Can be applied to many different types of architectures. By using a CANopen master from ICP DAS or other manufacturers, users can efficiently build a CANopen network system.
