An emergency alarm system is often used in the MRT, buildings, schools, or hospitals, as well as other public places where security management is required. If an accident occurs, you can press the alarm to immediately notify the relevant personnel. At the same time, the security control center will be informed of the location of the event and send staff to take immediate action. However, implementing this concept has difficulties that many people are seeking solutions to deal with.
Using a traditional system in campus security management as an example, an alarm is installed in a restroom entrance, and is only linked to a buzzer. However, if an emergency is encountered, the staff at the security center are not immediately and efficiently notified as the emergency message is not transmitted to the security center.
To transmit messages, you will need to pay more for the wiring from multiple locations to the security center. If these locations are far away from the security center or if they are spread across different buildings, the costs are often quite high.

The ZT-IOG system can automatically update the status of the DIO channel and notify the message center (ZigBee Coordinator) via wireless communication. The message center will then synchronize the status of all DO channels in the ZT-IOG network. This synchronization of the change in DO state may function as an “emergency alert” to trigger an alarm.

Description of the Application Architecture
An emergency alarm may be installed in many places, and every alarm should be able to actively notify the security center of an event. The architecture of a ZigBee network of ZT-IOG modules is a multi-to-multi I/O Pair-connection, so the message center will be notified of an event triggered from any alarm.
The architecture of the ZT-IOG network is also a multi-to-multi I/O Pair-connection, so it will link the mapping of the DO channels for all ZT-IOG modules in the network if any alarm is triggered. By applying “Pulse Mode” control logic, you can install the alarms in many locations and link the warning devices for these locations. For example, link the alarms or video devices in multiple locations to multiple security control centers.

Event Triggering Modes
When implementing ZT-IOG modules in different applications, you can install different triggering devices depending on the event mode of the application.
(1) “Edge Mode” can be applied to a “Momentary Button” in a lighting control system, so that multiple lights can be simultaneously turned on or off.
(2) “Level Mode” can be applied to a “Push Button” in a fire safety alarm system, so that the emergency alarm can be triggered and released in the same location.
(3) The “Emergency Button” locks on when pressed, and require a key to reset it. This attribute ensures that it cannot be restored easily. Therefore, it can be used as an alarm trigger if an emergency occurs, and you will not be concerned that the alarm has been intentionally disabled.
